Hello there again people! Right now I have been working on some stuff that I can share with you guys. I made an inside door for the ornate door because I thought it would look a little wierd if it was just the ornate door for both the inside and the outside.^^
About the stairs, I was thinking of two possibilities to make the stairs. The first one was to make a 3D looking door for one of the west or east walls of a room in the game but I didn't get it to work so I just made a simple stairs stuck to the wall xD. If you want it in another way just tell me please, Z-fied I certainly wont get upset or angry if you in some way find my tiles a little out of line it's nice to have someones opinion sometimes on stuff. Of course other people on this forum can give us some critics aswell on what you guys think should be fixed or maybe give tips, as I said I just think it would be making the tiles better in future work.
The carpet might be too big but as you can see it's more of a "classy" looking carpet. There are many different sorts of carpets that should match with different sorts of rooms of course so I plan on doing some other examples some other time.
Here are some tiles for the counter. This time I seriously just improvised on how to make it because I know it should be long and in different chapes so I just made some different styles for it Have no idea what that fridge thingy is called but I know most of the cafe counters have these things for serving food and cold drinks so people can pick from it. But i didn't bother to make any items for it because i still don't know if Z-fied wants one of these things in the counter. (had to split it into two pictures because I still have the problem with the files being to big sometimes)
Btw qwertz I like how you make the furnitures How do you get it to look so realistic? I mean with the shading xD
Hi again! Here are some doors, I kept them only in wood. tell me if you need more and or other kinds like iron doors or something in that way
There is one wooden table and two chairs for both sides. I can see right now that the perspective might not be perfect for the table so I might have to fix that so it can fit in the game designs perspective.
For the stairs... Well you might see why I think it looks wierd. I'm used to draw things so it looks kinda "3D" so when the wall is a straight line I have no other choise than to make it like that so it could fit in I'm not 100% sure if it's finished thou might get some better shading on it so it can fit more into previous art designs for the tiles.
acid: Thanks, i thought your drawing style is more fitting the existing one^^ keep up the good work! My skills to draw are quite bad but i wanted to contribute and speed up the project so i used openoffice to create 3D-Objects, fitted them together and converted that to a bitmap- the .bmp opened with a simple gif-painter got sized down and edited to have no glowing edges with a dark background and be less ugly in general:) These things i made some days ago, but am busy with university stuff so there may be much silence from my end:D (but i think i will soon edit the bad difference in viewing angle in the above picture) Because the 3D-objects in openoffice are generated from simple vector images the table basically is made from 5 brown circles and the chairs are each made of 6 circles and 4 rectangles^^ Everyone can do that!
p.s.: pool anyone?
edit: i just checked and think the table and chairs could be some bigger as acid made them don´t they? I´m lacking the abbility to correctly guess size relations so i would appreciate if you could tell me:)
